Essse capsules

In 1979, the Segafredo family, known for its long tradition of coffee roasting, founded the Essse Caffè brand in Bologna. The decision to write Essse with three S's has a background. These "S" stand for Scienza (Science), Sapienza (Knowledge) and Specializzazione (Specialization): three values that summarize a corporate philosophy. Today Essse Caffe is a successful brand, well-known in Italy and abroad. A guarantee of high quality coffee. Since 1998 Essse coffee has been certified as "Espresso Italiano". The certificate guarantees the high quality of the coffee.
